Winning Garden

Hard landscaping materials from Aggregate Industries were showcased to striking effect in an award winning eco-garden designed by TV garden designer David Domoney at this year’s BBC Gardener’s World Live.
The garden, entitled ‘Protecting Tomorrow Today’, was awarded a Silver Gilt award at the show for its green credentials.  Created entirely from recycled materials, the show garden featured Old Town Conservation eco paving and Eco-Granite decorative aggregates from Aggregate Industries’ Bradstone and Border Stone ranges as well as a fully planted-up salvaged Ford Fiesta and water features made from old washing machines.
David commented: “Eco-paving products are hard to find but Aggregate Industries’ eco products are equal to standard products, in terms of quality and appearance, and also come with green credentials, something more homeowners and professional gardeners and landscapers are looking for.  As part of the design of the garden, the Old Town Conservation paving was set inside recycled railway sleepers and laid in with Eco-Granite to create a really eye-catching effect.”
