Gavin Jones grounds maintenance and landscape contractors based in Surrey, is to be part of the recent Green Flag award presented to South Bucks District Council for its Stoke Poges Memorial Gardens. 
This esteemed award is the national standard for the quality management of parks, green spaces and Heritage sites in England and Wales, recognising and rewarding the best green spaces in the country.  It was introduced as a way of encouraging others to achieve the same high environmental standards, creating a benchmark of excellence in recreational green areas. Any parks or public open space must meet a range of tough criteria in order to secure Green Flag status, including the highest standards of environmentally sound grounds maintenance
